The technological advances in the country have made India a technically advanced and responsible nation of the world. Various R&D and educational organisations in India are contributing significantly for the growth of the nation and helping it maintain technical edge. It is evident that such a growth can only be sustained through technical leadership and that can be provided tomorrow by the young, dynamic and energetic brigade of today.
IIT Bhilai is the youngest Institution among 23 IITs. The first batch of B.Tech. students were admitted in 2016. IIT aspires to prepare such capable young individuals to become the profession leaders of tomorrow by equipping them with technical know-how and competence to take the future challenges. At the same time IIT Bhilai would also like to actively engage in research-driven undergraduate and postgraduate education with multifacet outcomes including research, entrepreneurship, technical leadership, and above all, responsible citizenship.
It will be also our endeavour to rapidly create our new campus in Bhilai with world-class research and education facilities, create collaboration with national and international industries, academic institutions, governments and provide avenues for bright future to the young aspiring students.
